Includes (1) A90 style pickup bobbin pre-assembled and ready for winding. (Magnet wire is NOT included in this kit, and must be purchased separately) 

Comes with the same dimensions as our P90 soapbar bobbin except with Alnico rod magnets in lieu of threaded pole pieces.  Sometimes compared to a "fat" Jazzmaster, try an A90 pickup today and put your Strat on steroids. With the availability of Alnico 2, 3 or 5 these pickup bobbins are designed for a wide variety of music styles. 

 

Each vintage style bobbin includes: 

  • Vintage correct vulcanized fiber work (black flatwork 0.093" or grey flatwork 0.093" your option)
  • Eyelets made specifically for soldering (eyelet lip is on bottom side only providing smooth, snag-free winding)
  • 0.187" flush mounted sand cast polepiece magnets with vintage bevel top

  • Your choice of Alnico 2 or 5

  • Engraving  Add a real professional touch to your pickups by engraving. Have your logo or custom text engraved on each bobbin (requires art work or font file to be used). Click Here for more details. 
  • Polepiece Aging   Give your pickups that real vintage vibe and add polepiece aging.  note: magnet aging is strictly cosmetic, no heating or other methods are used.
