Pro quality unpolished cast Alnico 2 bar magnet used in humbucker and P90 pickups. Magnet is marked red to distinguish magnet grade and north orientation.

Characteristics:

Alnico 2 bar magnets produce warm and very vintage sounding tones, generally has more mid tones. In the order of magnetic strength, Alnico 2 is actually in the middle when compared to Alnico 3 and Alnico 5 bar magnets.
