"DESIGN YOUR OWN" CUSTOM STRATOCASTER STYLE PICKUP BOBBIN KIT
As part of our new "DESIGN YOUR OWN" series, this product comes with a totally customizable Stratocaster® style pickup bobbin. All bobbins are pre-assembled and ready for winding. (Magnet wire is NOT included in this kit, and can be purchased separately)
All accessories can be added as required. Choose to design your own bobbin or, design a complete kit of your own online. Quantity discounts are available. If purchasing quantities larger than 50 pieces please contact us. Product boxes and custom foam inserts for retail can also be purchased seperately.
Each custom style bobbin includes:
Freshly cut vulcanized fiber work, you choose the color (bottom flatwork 0.093", top flatwork 0.062")
Choose from tinned eyelets made specifically for soldering or plain brass eyelets (eyelet lip is on bottom side only providing smooth, snag-free winding)
Choose between 0.187" or 0.195" Alnico grade 2,3,5 or 8 sand cast polepiece magnets with flat, vintage or modern bevel top
All pickups bobbins come pre-assembled
Custom design your own pickup stagger
Choose from several magnetizing options
Pickup height tension (your choice of conical spring, rubber tubing or none)
Pickup height adjustment screws (your choice of black oxide, chrome, gold, nickel or none)
Pickup covers (your choice of black, white, cream, red, blue or none)
Orientation (your choice of left handed or right handed stagger)
Optional vintage push-back or PVC style hookup wire available
Option to have pickup tension screw holes come pre-tapped to accept a standard 6-32 thread
Engraving Add a real professional touch to your pickups by engraving. Have your logo or custom text engraved on each bobbin (requires art work or font file to be used). Click Here for more details.
Polepiece Aging Give your pickups that real vintage vibe and add polepiece aging. note: magnet aging is strictly cosmetic, no heating or other methods are used.
